B.F. Hurley Mat Company, Inc was started by Ben Hurley and family shortly after World War II in 1946.
After it was recognized that matting customers had a keen interest in having their logos, mascots, emblems, and insignia incorporated into their matting, Ben Hurley and family sought a way to accomplish that end. When the requisite artistic and mechanical breakthroughs were attained, Hurley Mat became the custom vinyl link matting leader.
